CONOVER, NC - Faith Motorsports is happy to report that the 2009 version of Morgan Shepherd’s NASCAR Nationwide Series post card is now available to fans. The newly-designed card will begin being handed out to fans at the Nashville Superspeedway this coming weekend.
The card was designed by a Shepherd fan, 21-year-old Bardstown, Kentucky resident John Wall II. John first got involved in NASCAR in 2001 when he met a NASCAR driver at a local shopping mall, which hooked him on the sport.
John currently is a college student, majoring in graphic arts, and has long been a fan of Shepherd and his racing ministry.
“I’ve always been a Morgan Shepherd fan and have a lot of respect for him and his team,” Wall said. “It goes to show you that if you stay focused and refuse to give up you can accomplish a lot.”
Fans wanting to get their own copies of the 2009 post cards can obtain them several ways. If you want a card without an autograph, you can send a self-addressed stamped return envelope to Faith Motorsports, Attention: Driver Postcard, P.O. Box 389, Lesage, WV 25537. Make sure you address your return envelope and put sufficient return postage on it.
If you want your card to be autographed by Morgan, you can send a self-addressed stamped return envelope to Victory in Jesus Racing Team, Attention: Autographed Postcard Request, P.O. Box 623, Conover, NC 28613. Be prepared to wait a month or so to get your card due to Morgan only being available to sign items about one day per month. Again, make sure you have it addressed back to you and it has sufficient postage affixed.
