CONCORD, NC - Morgan Shepherd will be one of many NASCAR drivers and crew members to help raise money for a fellow Nationwide Series crew member in need.
Shepherd will donate a pair of his driving gloves to be auctioned off to benefit Matt Smith, a NASCAR Nationwide Series crew member who was recently injured in a motorcycle wreck and has had a rod inserted in his leg from his knee to his ankle.
Matt is currently employed but his medical bills are mounting and WAM, along with R3 Motorsports, is sponsoring a benefit night for Matt and his family to help raise funds for his medical costs.
Come support WAM and help raise funds to assist Matt with his medical expenses on April 28 at Big Al’s Pub & Grubberia at 631 Brawley School Road in Mooresville, NC.
Join other NASCAR drivers, crew members and race fans from 5 to 9 p.m. for drawings, auctions, food and fun.
On behalf of the Smith family, we hope each of you can make it out for dinner and show your support for Matt and WAM. If you are unable to attend this benefit and would like to donate to his fund, please send your check made payable to WAM to: WAM, 5555 Concord Parkway South, Suite 330, Concord, NC 28027.
