Morgan Shepherd is celebrating his 45th year as an active NASCAR driver at 71 years old (1967-2012).

Won four Cup Series races.

Won 15 Nationwide Series races.Nationwide stats -- six poles, 44 top-fives, 67 top-10s.
1980 Late Model Sportsman division champion, which is now the Nationwide Series.
Morgan is the second-oldest driver to win in the Cup Series at the age of 51 years, 4 months, and 27 days in 1993 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Currently owns and operates the No. 89 Shepherd Racing Ventures team. It is the first race team in Cup to have a ministry focus and is current competing in Nationwide.
